Ouch.

Remember when I was surprised by the intensely negative fan reaction to the Hellboy trailer? Well, if this Tor review is accurate, the trailer did what it was supposed to do: successfully communicated the tone and style of the film. Unfortunately, the film itself is terrible. (I enjoy the matter-of-fact nastiness of the entire review, but particularly its title: "Hellboy Doesn’t Know What to Do With Its R-Rating, So It Became a Bad Music Video".)
