Not the target audience, I guess

Apparently, the first trailer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot went over so badly they're cutting another one, and comic creator Mike Mignola says it's "so much better". I watched the first trailer, and while it doesn't seem particularly necessary, I'm not sure what people were complaining about. Sure, it looked pretty cheesy, but... well, what did they expect?
