Huh. It seems there's going to not only be a Ready Player One movie (which: why? We already have two Charlie and the Chocolate Factory adaptations. Can't we just re-watch those?), but Steven Spielberg is going to direct it. I am struggling to suppress my book-nerd rage at this news, but the idea that I'm getting an adaptation of this, rather than, say, any Georgette Heyer book ever, is proof that the world is unfair.
