At long last: non-ugly reprints!

2013
I have been wishing for years that someone would reprint the novels of L. M. Montgomery (whose books deserve much better cover art than they have received), so I was legitimately pleased to learn that Sourcebooks has picked up "exclusive American trade paperback and e-book rights to all of L.M. Montgomery’s copyright protected works in the U.S". Sadly, I'm not totally sold on these new covers, either (they're okay, but very...folksy), but I'm just grateful that some of Montgomery's other, lesser-known novels, like Jane of Lantern Hill and my beloved The Blue Castle, will finally be available in bookstores again, and presumably with better cover art than this.
