Try before you buy

If you're interested in Paula Morris's novel Dark Souls, our current weekly book giveaway offering, and you'd like to see a sample of her other work, she mentions a short story called Premises on her website. The story is available in an anthology called Lost in Translation: New Zealand Stories, but can also be read for free via the New Zealand Herald. It's totally a one-note joke, but Jane Austen fans should enjoy it.
