David Kamp

Vanity Fair writer David Kamp is the author of the Wordcandy-approved non-fiction book The United States of Arugula: How We Became a Gourmet Nation. He’s also a co-author of the irritatingly hipper-than-thou The Rock Snob*s Dictionary and The Film Snob*s Dictionary, but we can forgive that.

Aftertaste:
I hate the word "twee", and not only does it pop up more than once in The United States of Arugula, Kamp actually uses the stomach-turning phrase "a slight touch of the twees". Ghastly.
