Meredith Gran

Meredith Gran is a web cartoonist best known for her Octopus Pie series. The first two years' worth of Octopus Pie strips were collected in the graphic novel There Are No Stars in Brooklyn, one of our Featured Books.

Aftertaste:
We aren't bitter about this, particularly (because it happened before we'd ever heard of this strip), but there was a period of time where Gran switched from a three-times-per week update schedule to a one-story-arc-at-a-time update schedule. That didn't fly, so she's back to the thrice weekly thing.
