Seita Parkkola

Finnish author Seita Parkkola is the author of the award-winning horror/fantasy novel The School of Possibilities, one of our Featured Book picks. According to the (possibly questionably translated) author bio we found, she's written a follow-up novel called The Mist, as well as a variety of other novels that "help readers to perceive fundamental elements of the unknown potential within themselves and others". That sounds like a pretty tall order, but until A) the rest of her stuff gets translated, or B) we learn Finnish, we'll have to take their word for it.
