I'll pass

I finally watched the trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of the French graphic novel series The Killer, written by Alexis "Matz" Nolent and illustrated by Luc Jacamo. It looks... utterly miserable, I gotta be honest. This is why my action movie tastes run in the John Wick direction: if I'm going to watch an extravaganza of violence and gore, it should at least be entertaining and glossily shot and feature a bunch of overwhelmingly beautiful people hissing menacing nonsense at one another. I don't want to watch a grizzled Michael Fassbender putting in eyedrops, any more than I'd like to watch him doing his hired-assassin quarterly taxes.
