Movies that don't exist yet

The fine people at LitHub have an ongoing series where they mentally cast actors in thus-far-imaginary movie adaptations of books. I haven't read most of the books that they're talking about, but I have read Kindred, and I think their dream casting is spot-on... and would probably lead to a movie that would scar me for life.
