Holiday schmaltz?

The trailer is out for the movie adaptation of Julie Murphy's YA novel Dumplin'. The movie will feature Jennifer Aniston as the heroine's mother and songs by Dolly Parton, so I'm assuming it's going to be several cuts above the standard teen-movie fare. It will be released on December 7th on Netflix.
