The Times just posted an article about a new filmed version of King Lear, mostly notable because of its cast, which includes Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, and Emily Watson. It will debut on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. The trailer makes it look very intense (and it's such an aggressively miserable story anyway), that I'm voting no.
