Wow: THR just posted an update on the state of Starz's adaptation of Neil Gaiman's American Gods, and it sounds like a disaster. The article suggests that while the second showrunner in two years hasn't technically been fired, that's only to avoid the negative PR. Meanwhile, there appear to be massive and ongoing problems with the actors, budget, and scheduling. Personally, I'd scrap this sucker, but apparently Starz has a high tolerance for drama.
