Slate recently featured an excerpt from Ted Scheinman's Camp Austen: My Life as an Accidental Jane Austen Superfan. It's sweet, if a little dorky, and definitely makes me want to go to an Austen convention one day—I'm not doing any dressing up or dancing, but I definitely want to know more about that “Mothers and Daughters in the Novels of Austen" plenary discussion.
