Wake me when they start filming

There are signs of life for the BBC's long-dormant television adaptation of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials. I'm not counting on anything (there doesn't seem to be any news on the cast, director, filming timeline, etc.), but apparently the prospective writer mentioning it on Twitter counts as official confirmation...?
