May it be the first of many

For the first time in its 40+ year history, the British comic anthology 2000 AD will feature an all-female creative lineup for one of its upcoming summer special editions. According to THR, everyone working on the Sci-Fi Special issue is female, from the writers to the letterers. I have no idea how that ratio compares to 2000 AD's normal staff numbers, but here's hoping it's a sign of an increasing female presence in the comic world, rather than a publicity stunt.
