Well, I was never particularly excited about a TV miniseries adaptation of Jay Asher's YA novel Thirteen Reasons Why, and this new trailer is not doing much to change my opinion. Teen suicide is depressing enough without adding a bunch of conspiracy-theory/horror-film music to it.

I guess you are right, but Netflix didn't disappoint me before. We will see in next 2 weeks!

I have a lot of faith in Netflix, but I feel like they're doing their best to make it seem dark and intriguing and mysterious, rather than just a straight-up depressing teen melodrama, and I'm not sure if this the kind of thing that needs to be shined up, you know?
