YAY!

Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter informed me that Netflix is planning to create its first original Korean drama. Based on a popular romantic-fantasy webtoon by Kye Young Chon called Love Alarm, the 12-episode series is set to debut in 2018.
As longtime Wordcandy readers know, I love Korean dramas. (As far as I'm concerned, no TV show should ever last for more that 16 episodes.) I'm super excited to see Netflix bring K-dramas to a wider audience, and I'm hoping that this sudden influx of foreign attention means that someone will translate Love Alarm into English ASAP.
