Cross-marketing

The website Cosmic Booknews informs me that Goosebumps and Fear Street author R.L. Stine is currently working on a comic book series for Marvel. Details are non-existent (Stine is quoted as saying "I'm writing a series of comics for Marvel—my first comics ever. But I'm not allowed to talk about them yet"), but I'm assuming this will be a horror-themed title aimed at younger readers.
