According to the LA Times, there is an ongoing murder trial in England centering around the theft of a first edition of Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows. The details of the crime are pretty creepy, so I'll stick to the bare-bones version: a man named Michael Danaher is on trial for murdering antiques dealer Adrian Greenwood. Danaher allegedly learned about Greenwood's edition of the rare book (estimated to be worth more than $60,000) when the antiques dealer tried to sell in on eBay.
