A bold move

There was a recent post on LaineyGossip about the upcoming AMC show Preacher, which premieres on May 22nd (we originally wrote about it here). According to Lainey, the premiere episode features "a specific joke about religious leaders... and may have already drawn the ire of [Scientologists]." Thanks to my mother's hobby of reading about Scientology lawsuits (she doesn't care about the religion itself, mind you, just its ongoing legal battles), I've heard a lot about irate Scientologists, and they can be pretty terrifying. I know he already survived tangling with North Korea, but Preacher co-creator Seth Rogen might be well-advised to send Tom Cruise a nice fruit basket.
