Booze and time travel

If you're a big Outlander fan, TheKitchn recently posted a collection of four French cocktail recipes inspired by the TV adaptation's second season, which will be set in 18th century France. From what I understand, alcohol (well, alcohol taxation, anyway) was actually a super-hot topic in pre-revolutionary France, but it's probably best to enjoy these drinks without thinking about them too hard... much like the Outlander books, actually.
