No cafe, though.

According to the Seattle Times, the very first brick-and-mortar Amazon store opened this week in Seattle's swanky University Place mall. There was a huge Barnes and Nobel in University Village that closed a few years ago, but Amazon sounds pretty confident in their choice of locale: the layout is based on online consumer data, and they feel they've chosen the perfect stock to tempt Seattle readers. We'll see how it works out, but they've got one major temptation on their side: their in-store prices are the same as their online prices.
