According to the Guardian, Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy has been chosen as the "Big Read" at the Durham Book Festival. The paper asked nine well-known children's illustrators to draw their own daemons. (In Pullman's series, "daemons" are the physical manifestation of the characters' souls. Daemons shift between animal forms during childhood, but harden into a single form during puberty.) My favorite is Sarah McIntyre's "jabberwookie" (which I would 100% buy as a print), but I suspect my personal daemon would probably be a lot closer to Nadia Shireen's sheep.
