The umlaut really adds something.

Deadline informs me that Fox has hired Josh Schwartz (of The O.C., Gossip Girl, Chuck fame) to develop an hourlong "dramedy" inspired by Grady Hendrix's supernatural mystery novel Horrorstör. I've not yet read Horrorstör, but I'm told it's a horror story set in an Ikea-type furniture store. Schwartz has plenty of experience dealing with the innate weirdness of chain stores, so I'm hoping this will be right up his alley.
