Maybe they could hire a woman? For something?

According to THR, novelist Michael Chabon is in talks to work on Disney’s Bob the Musical, a movie that has been languishing in development hell for more than a decade. The film is described as the story of a "regular guy who, after a blow to the head, suddenly can hear the inner songs of everyone’s heart as his reality is instantly turned into a musical, much to his dismay." Tom Cruise is said to be interested in starring, Bret McKenzie (of Flight of the Conchords fame) will compose, Michel Hazanavicius will direct, and there's a loooong list of other dudes who have been previously involved in the project. You'd think they'd want a woman's input on some aspect of this project, but I guess not.
