And in other adaptation news, the long-rumored TV version of Neil Gaiman's American Gods has finally been greenlit. I still have queasy flashbacks to certain details featured in this novel, despite reading it nearly 15 years ago, but Gaiman fans will be thrilled—this series has been languishing in development purgatory for years now, but things seem to be picking up speed.
