It's maybe... 63% overdone.

The BBC has released a very dramatic trailer for their "A Lifetime of Original British Drama" promotion, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch at his absolutely most British, reciting the "All the world's a stage" speech. I found it hard to sit through, but it does offer glimpses of several upcoming BBC adaptations, including J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy, Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange And Mr Norrell, and Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall.
