I suspect this will be (unintentionally) hilarious: according to Variety, BBC One has announced the cast for its upcoming adaptation of D.H. Lawrence's Lady Chatterley’s Lover. Holliday Grainger will play Lady Chatterley, with Richard Madden—best known as Game of Thrones's Robb Stark—playing gamekeeper Oliver Mellors. Here's hoping Madden's resemblance to Rufus Sewell's portrayal of Seth Starkadder is a hint that the filmmakers are going to fully embrace the "brooding stares, sweaty hair, and ostentatiously unbuttoned shirts" method of characterization.
