The Stand: original flavor

Well, this should please Stephen King fans: according to the website BloodyDisgusting, the upcoming adaptation of King's The Stand will be R-rated and three hours long. That sounds like a lot to sit through (and I'm far from convinced it will actually end up as a single film, rather than a two-parter), but the director promises an "amazing A-list cast across the board", and at least the content won't be edited down to a more studio-friendly PG-13.
