Yet more magical pants

I cannot believe this. DOES THE WORLD REALLY NEED ANOTHER MOVIE ABOUT MAGICAL PANTS?!? According to THR, it seems so: Alloy Entertainment is working on a movie adaptation of Sisterhood Everlasting, the third (and, hopefully, final) novel in Ann Brashares's inexplicably popular* Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. It's unclear if the cast members from the first two movies will return, but as none of their careers are exactly scorching-hot, I expect so.

*Wordcandy has only reviewed one of Ms. Brashares's books, but its terribleness made a lasting impression. I'm hoping the rest of her work is better, despite all those unsavory rumors about the origins of her ideas, but still... it's a story about magical pants. I just CANNOT.
