Ugh, no thank you.

Personally, I wouldn't trust Lost writer Damon Lindelof any further than I could throw him (and I have no upper-body strength), but HBO appears to have a lot more confidence in his abilities. Word & Film has just posted the first full-length trailer for Lindelof's upcoming adaptation of Tom Perrotta's novel The Leftovers, which focuses on the people left behind after 2% of the population disappears in a Rapture-like event. It looks... hugely unpleasant, and over-acted, and frankly incredibly silly, but I'll give them this: I bet they spent a lot of money on it.
