Handwriting

I was all excited when I heard that the Jane Austen's House Museum had recently discovered a snippet of Austen's handwriting, and even more impressed when I saw the handwriting itself, which is ridiculously beautiful. Seriously, I can't even write legibly with a normal pen, on lined paper, and she did that with a quill? (And you should SEE my handwriting on credit card machines. It always looks like I signed my name left-handed. And drunk.) The fragment isn't one of her own compositions–it's apparently a bit of one of her brother's sermons–but experts think there's a "shadow" of additional writing visible on the other side, which they're hoping they'll be able to uncover.
