These Broken Stars on TV

Publishers Weekly informs me that Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner's novel These Broken Stars is going to become a TV show. The book—which I've been seeing in the kids' sections of local bookstores—was published last month and is the first installment in the "Starbound" science-fiction trilogy. (It looks out of place in the kids' section; the cover art reads more teen-romance than children's sci-fi.) Fun fact: the show is going to be co-produced by Eric Balfour, who I will always think of as Jesse, the Willow-and-Xander-best-pal who gets offed in the first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show has yet to find a home or a cast, but I'm assuming if they're tossing around names like 33-year-old actor Ben Foster, the characters' ages, descriptions, and presumable sexual comfort levels are going to change considerably.
