I suspect this is a bad idea.

Slashfilm recently posted the first official image and plot summary for Disney's upcoming film adaptation of Judith Viorst's classic kids' book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. According to the article, Disney decided that it would be difficult to transform a 32-page-long book into a full-length feature film, so they've expanded their focus to "include" (i.e., create out of thin air) the rest of the family's terrible days, too. An entire movie about a kid whining about there being kissing on TV and nothing but boring white sneakers at the shoe store just wasn't gonna cut it, apparently.
