Nostalgia ahoy

I was mega-excited when I saw this Slate article about a brief, wordless Calvin and Hobbes cartoon created by professional animator Adam Brown. Unfortunately, the final product was a bit of a letdown (something about that final face Calvin makes creeps me out), but the fact that we're still so excited by any signs of life from a comic strip that's been discontinued for nearly twenty years is a testament to Bill Watterson's genius.
