"Darwin Day" possible (but really unlikely)

According to the Huffington Post, New Jersey Democratic Rep. Rush Holt has introduced legislation that would designate February 12, 2013, as “Darwin Day". Holt's attempt to recognize the famous biologist as a "worthy symbol... [of] the achievements of reason, science, and the advancement of human knowledge” was introduced last week. Unfortunately for science fans, the legislation still has to make it through the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, which is controlled by Republicans, including Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA), who once described evolution as “lies straight from the pit of hell." So things aren't looking good, is what I'm saying.

But if Darwin day ever does happen, I am totally making this cake science
