The online design community Imprint recently posted an article about a "typographical experiment" called Page 1: Great Expectations. Each page of Page 1 is devoted to the work of a different graphic designer, but they all feature the same text: the first page of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations.
"My father’s family name being Pirrip, and my Christian name Philip, my infant tongue could make of both names nothing longer or more explicit than Pip..."I originally thought this idea was nuts (uh, £15 + shipping for a book that repeats the same page seventy times?), but let's be honest: if they did the same thing for Pride and Prejudice I'd totally buy one.
