Questionable casting

Actress Chloe Moretz has apparently confirmed that she will be playing the title role in the upcoming re-make of Stephen King's Carrie. I have my doubts about her ability to convey the character's intense vulnerability (Moretz looks like she knows how to take care of herself), but I'm also unsure how much vulnerability will actually be required—it's been over a decade since I read Carrie, and I have no idea how much of what I'm remembering was actually in the book, and how much was created by Sissy Spacek's iconic performance.
