Seventy minutes seems more likely

I have long wondered how the upcoming The Hunger Games movie could possibly secure a PG-13 rating. And, at least in Great Britain, it hasn't. According to Entertainment Weekly, the British Board of Film Classification has required that seven seconds' worth of footage be cut from the film in order for it to receive a 12A rating*. The uncut film will get a "15" rating, which comes with a consumer warning: “Contains intense threat, moderate violence and occasional gory moments." That still seems like a huge understatement, but at least it's better than nothing... I guess.
