
It's that time of year again, dear readers: time for the 19th annual
Literary Review "Bad Sex in Fiction" Award. This year's prize was given to David Guterson's novel
Ed King, which they describe as a "re-imagining of the Oedipus myth in the second half of the twentieth century". The winning paragraphs are simply too grody for me to re-post, but if you're interested you can read them
