Holly Black

Holly Black is the author of a series of excellent YA horror/fantasy novels: Valiant, Tithe, and Ironside, one of our Featured Book picks. Ms. Black is also one of the authors (along with Tony DiTerlizzi) of the popular Spiderwick Chronicles.

Note: Both Tithe and Valiant work just fine as standalone stories, although Ironside is clearly a sequel.
