Patricia Briggs

Patrica Briggs is an urban fantasy author based in Washington State. She's best known for her Mercy Thompson series about a shape-shifting VW mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area. (The first title in this series, Moon Called, is one of our Featured Books.) Briggs has written two series set in this world—the Mercy Thompson books and a spin-off series called Alpha and Omega.
